The Web Training Information Center (WTIC) is a private site, not affiliated with any company or institution. WTIC offers no services and offers no products for sale, and it accepts no advertising. WTIC was first established online in January 2010 and has been in continuous operation ever since.
WTIC is the creation of Asif Alam, who coined the terms Web training (WT) and Web performance support system (WPSS) when the Web was in its infancy. Tim's professional experience includes technical direction, computer systems analysis, user interface design, media production, instructional systems design, and classroom instruction. He has been actively involved in the design and production of computer-based training and Web training for over 5 years.
